I have been been listening to and loving music since I was first capable of putting vinyl on a record player. Dancing int the living room to ‘The Who’ amongst others was a common pass time. I continued learning to Dj in my teenaged years and by the age of 16 I had started gigging is club back rooms and small pubs. I went on to play gigs all over Europe. At the age of 18 I started producing music under the Alias MDS. I became well known for my unique take an acid, ambient and jungle, I produced music that was genre defining and dance floor filling. I was performing across the uk and Europe from 1998-2012. Then I just didn’t want to hang around in clubs anymore and took another direction.
I learned to  piano at an early age and re took to it at 22 went on to play music by Chopin, Beethoven, Eric Satie, Yann Tiersen and others.

I studied music and music technology and graduated with a 1st class degree and later a Masters in Music Technology and Innovation. I specialised in algorithmic composition and gesture mapping. I developed some standalone apps in his spare time to give to others and to use teaching.

My career as a Mixing and Mastering engineer developed organically over these year, composing, mixing and collaborating with other artists. Naturally the 1000’s of hours spend making music I have developed keen ears and an in depth knowledge (which continues to grow) of equipment, mixing and mastering techniques. In 2016 I was employed to master for Red Bull Media.  I’ve worked for independent artists such as Franc Moody, Charles, James Beckwith, Joe Downard, Stelar Jungle, Speakman Sound amongst others. I worked for Lithuania HQ, helping both established and developing artists produce music with a sound to compete at the highest commercial standard.

I have composed music to brief and I’m currently working for The Nerve having completed 3 Lps on their behalf and starting a 4th.
